Heartbroke

If I could take my heart from my sleeve and
give it to you, too ease your pain, I would.
Together we have taught each other lessons
that have been a wall in front of our path.
Stopping us in our tracks, our own paths to
heaven.

Today is the day that I remember you
forever. The smile you gave to me now floods
with the river of my tears. I still love
you, but the rail that binds our vehicles to
time is pulling us apart.

I will never forget you, I will always be
with you, my mind never dies, but my body
must now part. Goodbye. I love you.

Another Rose Picked From Thy Garden

I wandered around in complacent passion,
A land where you took my loving compassion.
Worlds apart, yet one we became.
Taste the delight of our starry rain.
Apart from my side is the place you now go.
I cannot believe how much you could show.
A surprise was taken, you astounded me
With your love, dedication and infinite glow.
Alone in my mansion, now I remain.
A feeling of loss, is hard to feign.
Our souls united with a brilliant glow.
I saw your light and now take a blow.
Buddha's words, attachment is pain,
In love with me, no one's to blame.
A promise you wanted, a maybe I gave;
Just in time your heart I could save.
Three days of sunshine and now is the night
I travel alone in my physical flight.
Beneath the skin lies a glowing bond
To the brilliant light of the eastern sun.
